North End Story Lab, is excited to launch our first, signature class –
Fundamentals of Acting
This class is for any actor looking to understand thru practice and exploration, their bodies as a fundamental component of their craft.
We will build this understanding thru:
Using teachings of Alexander, Linklater and facilitated play we will invite a deepening awareness of body and breath.
As we build our capacity for embodied listening we’ll incorporate Meisner technique, as we find a connection to self in the presence of a scene partner.
This class is run as a “Boot Camp”, meaning we’re jumping in and training hard for a week! Class runs:
Tuesday August 9th - August 12th from 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm and Saturday August 13th from 1 pm - 4 pm
Investment $260
